JRS 2023: The impact of not well controlled versus well controlled asthma on patients’ daily lives in Japan

The 63rd Annual Meeting of the Japanese Respiratory Society took place 28–30 April 2023 in Tokyo, Japan. The in-person meeting provided a broad range of educational sessions relevant for the respiratory and pulmonary fields.

Nagase H, et al. presented a poster titled ‘Japan internet survey for asthma patients: a cross sectional quantitative survey’. This analysis showed that patients with not well versus well controlled asthma had greater symptom burden and work and activity impairment, and worse quality of life scores.
