Beyond the National Lynch Syndrome Transformation Project and Mainstreaming Videos

On 26^th April 2024, GSK sponsored a non-promotional educational event, in collaboration with The NHS Genomics Medicine Service Alliance (GMSA) for UK Healthcare Professionals, called Beyond the National Lynch Syndrome Transformation Project. This event was intended to help develop healthcare professionals’ knowledge of Lynch Syndrome and implementing mainstream genetic testing into the cancer clinic. In addition, a non-promotional, educational series of 11 short videos were produced as a supplementary resource for healthcare professionals as they prepare and implement mainstreaming into practice.

The Lynch Syndrome mainstreaming educational videos are to support Lynch Syndrome Cancer Nurse Specialists with mainstreaming but also act as an education to the wider multi-disciplinary team on Lynch Syndrome testing and the role of the Lynch Syndrome Cancer Nurse Specialists. These videos have been designed to be viewed either in sequence or by choosing the specific video dependent on the topic of interest. These videos do not replace the advice of the genetic counsellor. Please seek the advice of your regional Lynch Syndrome Cancer Nurse Specialist, your Cancer Alliance or GMSA for support and information.

This event was organised and funded by GSK. This was a non-promotional event and individual products or vaccines were not discussed during the sessions. All participants received remuneration from GSK for their services. The Lynch Syndrome mainstreaming educational videos were co-created and funded by GSK. The speakers have been given an honorarium by GSK for their participation in the videos.
